Quality Manual Updating

Although the revised standard does not require you to make changes to your quality management system documentation it is very likely that you will have to change some things. For example, it will be very inconvenient if you do not restructure your Quality Manual, even though this is not actually demanded.

In addition, depending on how serious you were in setting up your original system, you may have to add some new initiatives. For example, any company that is serious about training is already assessing the effectiveness of training. If you are really committed to customer satisfaction you will already be using some sort of measurement of customer satisfaction. So, it is possible that you will not have to implement many changes, and that the only chore you now have is to update your manual to the new structure.

If you send us an electronic copy of your current Quality Manual we can update it for you. Where new initiatives are required in order to comply with the revised standard we will be able to suggest the most practical possibilities, based on your management approach described in the Quality Manual.
